I am a South African author, photographer, and creative living on the Garden Route, South Africa.

I have spent the last 7 years photographing women in the familial space, documenting their journey from maiden to mother with a deep reverence for this powerful metamorphosis. My work is fine art, painterly and documentary. As a family photographer I am drawn to photographing families in their homes or in nature.

My internationally published book, The Wanderlust Kitchen – A Spiritual Guide to Healing Recipes from Around the World, combines my three great loves: travel, photography, and food as medicine, weaving together nourishing recipes, holistic wellness insights, and journal entries from my travels. I am a recipe creator and food stylist with a deep love for food that feeds mind, body and soul.

Artist Bio

I spend my days creating—guided by nature, elemental living, and the healing power of plants. I live on the edge of an indigenous forest, surrounded by mountains and close to the ocean and my work is influenced by spiritual practices and the natural world. In my photography, I am drawn to slow, sustainable processes, including alternative printing techniques and eco-conscious darkroom practices. My creative practice bridges the worlds of art, storytelling, and holistic living. I make photographs to feel alive, and present in this moment and because it feels important to capture the story of my life.

Projects

I am currently working on a film photography project exploring fertility, loss, and grief—themes that are both personal and collective. Cloud Studies for a Future Body (2026)
