For the past seven years, I have been documenting women on their profound journey from maiden to mother. I am captivated by the way women exist in liminality—floating between two worlds during pregnancy, suspended in a state of becoming. I create images that honour the raw, transient, and powerful nature of being a women and becoming a mother. My approach is intuitive and personal—an invitation for you to see yourself through my eyes.

Natural light, the natural world, and human connection weave their way through my work, creating a visual poetry that is both painterly and documentary. I make photographs that capture both light and dark: the quiet magic in the way light moves across skin or the intimate way in which hands instinctively cradle a growing life, the raw, messy reality of motherhood and the fleeting in-between moments that so often go unnoticed.

I shoot both film and digital and my work is very much influenced by my lifestyle. I live on the edge of an indigenous forest between the ocean and the mountains and nature is my greatest inspiration. Having traveled the world for a decade - I am an adventurous soul and I love to learn about new places, people and ways of being in the world. My camera brings me into the present moment and gives me the honour of connecting with and being invited into other people’s worlds.

I offer maternity, intimate motherhood, newborn and family photography sessions. I am drawn to telling your story and reflecting its beauty back to you through my work. Photography heals - I have felt this deeply in my own life and I have seen it when I photograph others. There is something incredibly healing about being seen as you are in whatever phase of life you are currently in.
