The Wanderlust Kitchen

Creative Director | Author | Photographer | Recipe Creator | Food Stylist | Designer

The Wanderlust Kitchen is my debut cookbook and an end-to-end creative project born from my love of food, travel, nature and nourishment.

Published internationally by Watkins and Nourish, the book brings together 150+ plant-forward, anti-inflammatory recipes, travel stories and original photography, creating a visual and editorial world inspired by the places, people and food cultures I encountered around the world.

I conceived and led the project from its earliest idea through to the finished book, bringing together concept development, recipe creation, writing, photography, food styling, design and visual direction to create one cohesive creative world.

Rather than treating these disciplines as separate elements, I used them to build a singular visual and editorial language — part cookbook, part travel journal and part photographic essay.

The Wanderlust Kitchen became the foundation for the multidisciplinary creative practice I continue today, working across photography, publishing, hospitality, travel, food and experiential storytelling.

PHOTOGRAPHY

I photographed the food, landscapes, ingredients, travel experiences and visual stories throughout the book, establishing its distinctive photographic language.

FOOD STYLING

I directed and styled the food using natural textures, seasonal ingredients and the environments around me, creating imagery that felt connected to place rather than overly produced.

TRAVEL & VISUAL STORYTELLING

The book grew from my travels through Asia, Central America and beyond. I photographed the landscapes, food cultures and experiences that informed both the recipes and the wider visual narrative.

CREATIVE DIRECTION

I developed the overarching creative concept and directed the visual and editorial language of the project, bringing together food, travel, nature, photography and storytelling into a cohesive brand and publishing experience.

CONCEPT & AUTHORSHIP

I conceived the book's central idea and wrote the recipes, travel stories and editorial content, shaping the narrative from beginning to end.

RECIPE CREATION

I developed and tested more than 150 recipes, drawing on my travels and a philosophy of colourful, nourishing, plant-led cooking.

The Wanderlust Kitchen is a reflection of how I like to work: bringing together photography, food, writing, styling, research and visual storytelling to create work with a strong sense of place and purpose.

It also laid the foundation for the creative work I continue to do - rooted in creativity, people, places, food, wellness and brands.
